Sambazon is an Acai company that has its roots in the Brazilian Amazon.
They take great pride in being a responsible business with sustainable harvesting practices that do good for the people of the Amazon. In 2016, we helped them refresh their brand, update their packaging, and launch an energy drink.

Sambazon needed a brand refresh that embodied its spirit.
In order to capture the essence of the Amazon and maintain the vibrant, friendly, approachable tone that Sambazon is known for, we went to the Amazon, to immerse ourselves in the brand’s roots.
Our inspiration was drawn from the textures, the type, the fauna, and the
“imperfect but beautiful” nature of the Amazon. Our goal was to capture this in a lighthearted, playful way. The resulting work is very much art with hand painted textures, hand draw type, and original photography.

Sambazon was expanding its footprint, this time into the world of energy drinks.
Staying true to Sambazon’s brand values of responsible business practices and doing good for people’s health, we helped to launch their new energy drink, Amazon Energy, into a highly competitive category as a much healthier option for consumers. Our package design conveys high energy without compromising the healing benefits of Acai.
